Besides having Lucite drawers lining the wall, full of candy, dried fruit, and other snacks, this store stocks a selection of small childrens’ toys, greeting cards, and canned sodas.
Easily recognizable by the statue of a chocolate and vanilla ice cream cone outside the door next to the narrow wooden bench, this shop carries not only a few flavors of Tasti-D-Lite soft ice cream, but a freezer chest of prepackaged ice cream of different brands, and Hershey’s line of hard ice cream. They also offer shakes, malts, floats, and sundaes. A cheerful counterman rounds out the experience and makes this an ice cream shop you want to go to.
Wheelchair access: possibly. There is a gentle ramp of molded concrete up to the door.
