Tempo Presto is a "sister shop" to the Tempo Restaurant at 256 5th Avenue between Carroll & Garfield. While the Tempo is described as a "Restaurant & Wine Bar" and features a gourmet menu with hearty hot meat and vegetable dishes, a selection of desserts, including but not limited to sorbetto and gelato, their annex, Tempo Presto, at 254 5th Avenue, is a carry-out counter primarily offering salads and sandwiches, with a small interior space and a few tables of cafe seating, a quasi coffee shop. Tempo Presto offers several flavors of gelato and sorbetto at $3.50 for a small dish, which to their credit, they pile high and fill to overflowing when serving you. Tempo Presto is open 7 days a week 11am-9pm and is wheelchair accessible (there is a slight slope up to the door which is not automatic but if a Park Slope stroller mom can get in there, stroller and all, surely, you can, too.)
