Description: Review of Tasti-D-Lite Upper West Side 2345 Bway & 86th St.

This Tasti-D-Lite location is a very small shop with a selection of toppings at the front counter and a few soft ice cream flavors as well as a refrigerator case with some pre-packaged Tasti-D-Lite products, but no hard ice cream or other sweets or candy. Milkshakes are advertised on a poster outside the door. They offer ice cream cakes, ice cream cones, and ice cream sandwiches. They have a small seating area, but no computers.
They have a sign on their front counter which says that tasting is limited to one taste per customer, which is too bad, considering that some other Tasti-D-Lite shops give two or three tastes to a customer.
The front window has a blue sign with a wheelchair symbol, indicating wheelchair access, but a high step in the front of the store. “You’ve got to go to the back entrance” for wheelchair access, the employees tell me.
The official website of Tasti-D-Lite claims that its frozen dessert is neither "ice cream" nor "frozen yogurt".
