Tasti-D-Lite MacDougal Street
Flavors of Soft Ice Cream Available: Snickers, German Chocolate Cake, and French Vanilla. They also have the line of basic flavors of Hershey's hard ice cream, which includes Denali Moose Tracks. Contrary to company policy as articulated at the SoHo store, they only allowed me to have ONE taste here. Unlike some other Tasti-D-Lite locations, such as the SoHo Sweet Shop on Spring Street or the one next to the Astro Diner in Midtown, they do not offer a wall full of candy-by-the pound in Lucite bins. Instead, they've got a small seating area, a couple of chairs and tables whose <i>raison d' etre</i> is really the three pay-as-you go internet computer stations.
