Description: Everything here, from the seating to the serving area, is so clean it’s practically sterile. The photos in articles about this place don’t lie. How they accomplished this while I was there and a crowd was jostling at the front counter is beyond me. Featured in the New York Times, this top-flight gelato goes for $4.75 per small cone. I was also happy with my generously-filled ice cream cup, and did not see anyone getting shortchanged by leveled-off servings of gelato while I was there.
The cassata siciliana flavor is a frozen version of the ricotta-based treat, with the citron and orange peel bits, but without the marzipan crust.
Grom serves granita as well as gelato.
Wheelchair accessibility: there is a gentle slope up to the inside of the shop.
